After 10 editions organized in 9 African cities between 2007 and 2016, the International Sports Convention in Africa (CISA) returns, for its 11th edition, to Dakar, from February 19 to 21, 2025, in a city that saw the birth, in 2007, of this benchmark event on the African sports agenda.
A unique event in its design and formula, CISA always aims to contribute to the development of sport in Africa by bringing together each year, in a different African city, African and international sports experts. CISA is a real platform for sports stakeholders and professionals who, for three (03) days, have the opportunity to exchange and share their visions and experiences on the various issues of African sport.
Beyond networking and discovering Dakar, the host city of the Youth Olympic Games in 2026, CISA pays tribute to African athletes and sports leaders with inductions into the Africa Sports Hall of Fame, not to mention the publication of the African sports directory which lists all the sports players on the continent.
CISA also provides access to training and knowledge transfer with the athletes’ forum and the African sports journalists’ forum organized ahead of the event.
