See MoreInitiated during the 2012 edition of CISA in Bamako (Mali), the Seminar for African Sports Journalists allows African sports journalists to update their knowledge with current topics
See MoreDuring each edition of CISA, between thirty (30) and fifty (50) athletes from the host country are invited to take part in this important meeting led by high-level experts
See MoreOne of the most important moments of CISA, the induction ceremony into the Africa Sports Hall of Fame takes place at each edition during an unmissable gala night
See MorePublished regularly since 2007 during CISA, the Africa Sports Directory provides visibility to all organization’s stakeholders and leaders of African sport, namely the Olympic Committees, confederations and national federations, among others
See MoreCISA is a necessary initiative. Such a project can only contribute to the development of sports in Africa. The field of African sports is huge and very little work has been done so far to showcase it. I welcome the giant steps that are being made through CISA with the relevant themes addressed.
I pay tribute to the management of JAPPO for this great initiative which, over the years, has established itself as a major agenda in the African sports calendar. Since the early days, ANOCA has been a partner of the event, because we are convinced that it serves the promotion and development of sport in Africa.
I have attended every edition of CISA since the first one in 2007 and the event gets better every year. The themes are relevant and include great and passionate speakers who captivate the audience. Thank you Diamil Faye and the JAPPO staff for this great initiative that showcases Africa"
Exceptional variety of topics offered. CISA is a great way for sports federations, clubs, associations, etc. to connect with candidate cities and future organizers of sports events. CISA was a great way to introduce Rio 2016 and discuss other aspects of sport, namely the "business of sport"
An innovative conference that allows African leaders and stakeholders to meet and discuss sports issues. With all the connectivity difficulties in Africa, it is almost a feat achieved by JAPPO to succeed in meeting each year under this exchange platform
It was a pleasure for me to participate in the convention and seminar for African sports journalists. Despite my extensive knowledge of Africa, I learned a lot about sports in Africa from both the speakers and the participants. I really enjoyed the discussions on the future of the African games and how they will serve to improve them for the benefit of all stakeholders.
I am proud of this purely African initiative and its initiator Diamil Faye, whom I respect enormously for everything he does for African sport. Our politicians must become aware of the importance of young capital and the importance of sport. I really appreciated the face-to-face and the exchanges between my generation and the young and emerging managers of African sport.
A very nice initiative that allows us to have a space for discussion on the current problems of sport in Africa and their evolution. It is a space to be kept for all means, because it enriches the debates and offers conclusions that will improve our way of presenting sport
It is an honour and a great pleasure for us to host this important event that helps strengthen ties between Cape Verde and other African countries. Hosting this convention is an opportunity to strengthen the promotion and development of sport and also to promote tourism which is an important sector of our economy.
I always have renewed pleasure in coming to participate in this event. From year to year, I see that the conference is developing, becoming more professional with more scope, confidence and maturity. We are very happy to be a partner and we are proud of these very beautiful things that are achieved by the organizers and the host countries.
This is a very nice convention with discussion topics that are current and are in line with the needs and aspirations of Africa. I would like to congratulate JAPPO for this great initiative and thank all these young and fantastic volunteers who work involved in the organization
