A living legacy of the African Sport Convention, CISA Kids is a program that contributes to the education of children through sport, arts and culture. Initiated in 2007 with the IAAF and its President Lamine Diack, the program is organized every year in different schools in Senegal between December and May.
The CISA Kids program aims to encourage children to take part in sport and works to improve the place of sports activity at school level.
Athletics is still the basic sport alongside other sports such as taekwondo, fencing, karate or softball/baseball, among others.
In addition to these sports activities, other activities of mind games, arts (painting, drawing and pottery) and cultural activities (theatre and songs) have also been integrated into the program.
