One of the most important moments of the Convention, the induction ceremony into the Hall of Fame of African Sport takes place at each edition during gala evenings.
These trophies represent a mark of recognition of African athletes, technicians and sports leaders identified, by a special jury, for their contribution to the development of sport in Africa throughout their careers. Inductions are in the following categories:
Athlete (one male and one female)
Technician (one male or one female)
Leader (a man or a woman)
The induction ceremony into the Hall of Fame of African Sport is scheduled for February 19, 2025.
